Baahubali - 2 The Conclusion – Spectacular visual classic and Worth Watching ..!

I think, Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion has raised the standard and level of Indian Cinema in terms of Visual effects and the scale of the project and the art of making historical cinema. The film portrays perfectly the ancient kingdoms of historic India. To me, the hero of the film is the director S.S. Rajamouli who made us believe in the cinema once again. Baahubali 2-The conclusion has everything grand in it, the characters, the vision, the story, the anger, The VFX effects, and the end.

Baahubali - The beginning was a milestone for Indian cinema, regarding size and VFX effects. There was incredible grip when the story was told,, the background score was powerful, and the cinematography was beautiful. We must applaud the S.S.Rajamouli for his work as he has come up with a stunning piece of cinema that lives up to the hype in all means and even outshines the original in few parts like the depth of the story-line and a smooth acceptable screenplay.
The Baahubali part 2 is brilliantly directed and without a doubt, a magnificent movie overall with a methodically convincing and sincere story- line that grips the viewers by inviting them to be a part of the Mahishmati kingdom for its run time of around two hours and forty-eight minutes.

The first half – is love track between Anushka and Prabhas and it is well-scripted. In a nutshell, the best thing about the Conclusion is that it takes care of the subplots and contemplates well on the inner battle and emotions of the two lead characters. ( Rana and Prabhas- The warrior leads)

The way S.S. Rajamouli handled the answer to the million dollar question "Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali?" was excellent. The Rajasabha sequence when Parbhas kills the offender of Anushka and the particular arrow fight sequence between the lead pair  Anushka and Prabhas) were exceptional and the highlight of the narrative.
One of the substantial points of the movie is the acting by all the central characters, especially Prabhas and Sathyaraj Anushka who had the lion share of the screen presence. Rana stood out as exceptional Villain though had limited opportunities. He portrayed an authentic Villain who has no values and hungry for power. One cannot ignore the strong lady performances from Shivgami/Ramya and Devsena/Anushka who handled their role with great dignity and delivered a performance which raised a quality of the screenplay. Bijjaladeva is like another version of Villain Gang, and he delivered the selfish father very well. A minor role to Avanthika, but OK.
Action sequences, visual effects are the ones which raise the bar of Indian cinema and matches to the Hollywood. Cinematography VFX, are at another level. The art of storytelling by S. S, Rajamouli is amazing as he creates a grand stage for our hero for the final battle. This movie is a visual wonder.

However, If you look at negatives, then the way romance has been handled in the first half, and it could have been better. Few patchy graphic scenes make you feel this shouldn’t be part of the movie. The final war could have been far better with more ideas. Sometimes you feel, storytelling has suffered a bit due to excessive focus is on graphics. An example is - when Prabhas is returning to his Kingdom with Anushka, the audience feels they are watching an animated movie. Too much of graphics and not needed for at that stage of the story..!
When we look at music section, Songs and background score by M.M.Keeravani were compelling and raised the atmosphere of the narration. All the songs of Baahubali -2 were Okay,  but I felt the music of Baahubali -1 was better. I am talking about the Hindi version only.

Overall, Baahubali -The Conclusion' is a spectacular visual classic a must watch cinematic experience from preferably the best theater in your locality. Great work by S.S. Rajamouli.
